FULL PROFESSOR

Ada Ferri is a Full Professor at the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT).
She has over 20 years of experience leading research and innovation projects in the field of textile processes and technologies.

RESEARCHER

Francesca has a background in Textile Chemical Engineering (BSc, 2003) and a Postgraduate Master’s degree in Textile and Health (2006). Her expertise spans textile technologies, material characterization, and thermal comfort evaluation.

Eleonora holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering and a Master's degree in Materials Engineering. Her research combines experimental testing and modelling to advance the understanding of thermal comfort in sportswear and equipment.

RESEARCH FELLOW

Elena has a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering for Industry 4.0. Her research and lab experience includes evaluating comfort properties of fabrics and assessing microplastic release from synthetic textiles.

Ghasem is currently doing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino (in collaboration with MulmoPro group), concering the design of technical fabrics through numerical modeling and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Sergio hold a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. His research (primarily funded by MulmoPro group) focuses mainly on the modeling of multiphase flow in porous media with the aim of better understanding the absorption and swelling phenomena occurring within AHPs and optimizing their design.
